Registration Ends Friday for Chance to Purchase Cubs' Playoff Tickets

Cubs diehards praying for postseason tickets may want to check their emails

Cubs diehards praying for postseason tickets may want to check their emails, as the team announced Thursday winners of a recent random drawing have been selected for their chance to purchase seats to the NLCS games at Wrigley Field.

The winners of the drawing have a one-time chance from noon Friday until 11:59 p.m. CT to buy up to four tickets online.

For those who weren't among the lucky ones to be selected for the last drawing, there's still some good news. You can register for a chance to purchase tickets for potential 2015 World Series games at Wrigley Field until noon on Friday.

But be ready to act fast, as the seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so being selected in the drawing does not guarantee a spot at the game. Non-winners were also notified that their entry will continue to be included in any additional random drawings that take place in the 2015 postseason.

The MLB's registration process will by far be the best shot for getting to the game without having to sell off your belongings, as many hoping to catch a ticket on the secondary market may have to pay a pretty penny, as the priciest ticket from other retailers has made it to a whopping $1 million
