Three people were arrested in charged following a home invasion and shooting Wednesday morning.
It happened at around 9:30 a.m. at a home in the 2700 block of North Mango.
Police say the offenders forced their way into the victim's home in an attempt to commit a robbery.
A 46-year-old man who lives in the home was shot during the robbery. He was listed in serious but stable condition at a local hospital.
Two of suspects were found and arrested shortly after the incident following a search of the area. The third suspect was discovered at his home, police say.
The suspects were identified as Jose Barriga, 18, and Sergio Mayim, 22, who both live a few blocks away from the targeted home, and 25-year-old Matthew Andras.
All three are charged with first-degree attempted murder, aggravated battery and home invasion causing great bodily harm.
The suspects are scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
