Steve Bartman Responds to Fundraising Drive
The image of the infamous Steve Bartman catch in 2003, is burned into the memories of Cubs fans everywhere.

Chicago Cubs fans have been trying to raise money for Steve Bartman to attend the team’s wild card game, but according to a spokesman, the famous fan isn’t going to participate in any reunion.

The spokesman, who spoke to ESPN about the situation, says that Bartman will not attend the game:

“He has no intention of being at the wild card game. Steve is glad the money will go to a good cause and will be cheering on the Cubs as always.”

According to the GoFundMe page dedicated to bringing Bartman to the game, the money will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association if he opts not to go to the game.
