Two suspects are in custody after a huge stash of stolen city property was discovered in a Humboldt Park scrap yard at 901 North Kilpatrick.
Hundreds of metal tree grates, sewer caps, sewer rings and other city property were found in the yard.
Evidence technicians were expected to go through the material throughout the night.
Investigators believe the same suspects may be responsible for a recent rash of thefts along Milwaukee Avenue in the 45th Ward.
