Son Arrested After Parents' Bodies Found Decomposing in Indiana

Thomas Snow taken into custody in Minnesota, police said

Police have arrested the son of a Lowell, Ind., couple whose decomposed bodies were found last week during a well-being check.

Thomas Snow, 34, was taken into custody in connection with the murders of his parents, Clifford and Joyce Snow, police said.

Snow was picked up by police in far northwest Minnesota. Police said he is a suspect in an armed robbery in Newton County, Ind., and is being held on that charge while the murder is still under investigation.

Officials said the bodies of Clifford and Joyce Snow were discovered just before 4:30 p.m. Friday in the 14500 block of West 197th Avenue after a family member called for a well-being check.

Upon arrival, officers found the decomposed bodies of two individuals inside the home.

The husband and wife died from blunt force trauma and asphyxiation, police said, and were identified by way of dental records.

Police said an investigation is ongoing.
