Sochi Olympics Day 11: Locals to Watch

7 a.m.: Oak Park's teen phenom Emery Lehman and fellow American Patrick Meek go up against a crew of Dutch speed skating giants who could sweep Tuesday's 10,000m event. The Netherlands' best hopes are Sven Kramer (who notched the fastest time in the Vancouver race but was disqualified for failing to change lanes on a lap), Jorrit Bergsma and Bob de Jong. 10:15 a.m.: Chicago's Aja Evans makes her bobsled debut Tuesday. She joins Lauryn Williams and Lolo Jones as the push athletes in Sochi, along with drivers Jamie Greubel, Elana Meyers and Jazmine Fenlator. Evans started her career as a track star, but the shift to bobsledding began in 2012. Now, she has her eye on Sochi gold. Watch live here.

11 a.m.: Blackhawk's forward Marian Hossa hopes to help his native Slovakia advance against the Czech Republic. The winner of this game will advance to play the U.S. in the quarterfinals. Keep in mind the U.S. drubbed the Slovakians 7-1 in their opening game. Watch on the NBC Sports Network or stream it live here.
