Small Aircraft Crashes in Rural Indiana: Report

A small aircraft crashed in Indiana Thursday night, WTHR reported.

A spokesperson told the NBC affiliate that officers were investigating “a small plane down” near County Roads 600 South and 500 west near Rossville in Carroll County.

Traffic is closed between Prince William Road and 500 West.

A spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration said first responders arrived at the wreckage of a Cessna 441 aircraft but could not provide any information about the aircraft’s occupants.

The National Transportation and Safety Board was notified and investigating.
