Single-Game Cubs Tickets Go On Sale

Fans can buy them in person or online

Batter up! Single-game Cubs tickets went on sale Friday.

The box office at Wrigley Field opened at 8 a.m. for fans with wristbands, and people were lined up around the block to get a chance at scoring one of the most coveted tickets in all of baseball.

Cubs owners Todd and Laura Ricketts were there to pour coffee for early birds. Even Rahm Emanuel was there getting a first crack at tickets.

Online sales started at 10 a.m. Up to six tickets could be purchased for each marquee game and up to 19 tickets for all other games online.

Buyers must set up an account before ordering tickets on the Cubs website.
