Police believe the same robber is responsible for targeting five banks since April.

Police say a woman dubbed the "Shady Bandit" robbed another bank Thursday.

The robber -- whose moniker comes courtesy of the dark sunglasses she wears -- robbed the TCF Bank branch at 5516 N. Clark Street.

Police say the robbery occurred just after 2:00 p.m. when the woman made a verbal demand for money and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Police believe she's responsible for at least five robberies on the North Side since April.

Surveillance photos from Thursday's robber show the woman wearing a black parka with a fur-lined hood, a black and white patterned knit cap and black gloves.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the Chicago office of the FBI at 312-421-6700, or local law enforcement.
