Emergency crews were called to a northwest suburban Park Ridge intersection overnight.
Police say three cars collided around 11 p.m. Thursday night where Oakton Street and North Dee Road meet. When crews arrived, only two cars remained on the scene.
Seven people were injured and taken to three area hospitals.
One person was in good condition, the six others were in serious to critical condition.
No word what caused the crash.
