A 24-year-old man who was reported missing after going swimming with friends in Lake Michigan late Sunday night has been found safe at his home, police said.
Authorities said a group of four people jumped into the lake for a swim at Ohio Street Beach in the 600 block of North Lake Shore Drive, but only three people got out of the water.
Police were notified that the swimmer was missing around 11:10 p.m. and police and fire marine units and divers searched for the man into Monday morning.
The man was found at his home shortly before 10 a.m., according to Chicago Police New Affairs.
No further details were available.
