Schaumburg Man Charged in 2009 Murder

Witnesses linked the man to the unsolved murder

Witnesses identified a Schaumburg man in connection to an unsolved 2009 murder.

Police arrested Timothy Sinico, 22, on Monday in his home in the 200 block of North Ashwood in Schaumburg, according to Chicago News Affairs. Sinico is charged with one count of first-degree murder.

On April 23, 2009, police found a 20-year-old man unresponsive in a car in the 1400 block of North Mason. The man was take to Loyola Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The death was ruled a murder. 

Sinico was due in bond court Monday morning, according to police.
