Robert Morris Student Dies on Soccer Field

A scholarship athlete at Robert Morris University died Wednesday evening on the soccer field at The University of Illinois in Chicago. 

Jesus Lupian, 19, collapsed during a game. 

Lupian played for Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, but graduate from John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, according to a Chicago Tribune report.  Lupian passed his sports physical, the paper reports. 

He was set to enter his second year at Robert Morris, where he was on a soccer scholarship. Robert Morris was renting the field at University of Illinois in Chicago. 

School officials said grief counselors were being made available. An autopsy is scheduled for later Thursday.
