Report: Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg Wedding in St. Charles

A crowd gathered outside the hotel Saturday hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars

Despite several reports that Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg would be saying their vows in New York this weekend, it appears the couple is staying at an iconic hotel in suburban St. Charles.

The Courier-News reports that the former co-host on “The View” and her “Wahlburgers” star fiancé were spotted at the historic Hotel Baker this weekend and were reportedly scheduled to wed there Sunday.

A crowd gathered outside the hotel Saturday hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars.

One fan said a waiter brought dessert out to the waiting fans.

Several of the couple’s family and friends, including Wahlberg’s mother and brother Paul along with former New Kids on the Block bandmates Jordan Knight and Danny Wood, were spotted around the town Saturday and a film crew appearing to be from the show “Wahlburgers” was seen in front of the hotel, according to the Courier-News.

While it remained unclear which day the couple was getting married, Donnie Wahlberg’s brother and fellow actor Mark Wahlberg tweeted a congratulatory message to the couple Saturday and posted a video to Instagram apologizing for not being able to attend the event.

Mark Wahlberg and his family were celebrating his daughter Ella's 11th birthday Saturday, he said in the video.

Sherrie Shepherd also posted about the wedding on social media, sharing a picture on Instagram.

"Catching an early morning flight to @jennyannmccarthy and @donniewahlberg's wedding," the caption read. "What a beautiful day to join as one before God! Congrats to two beautiful people!"

The hotel did not immediately return calls requesting confirmation of the wedding, but it has been the site of several famed weddings in the past.

According to the hotel’s website, many famous people have stayed there over the years, including Louis Armstrong, John F. Kennedy, Billy Graham and Gerald Ford.

McCarthy, a South Side Chicago native and former Playboy bunny, announced her engagement on “The View” earlier this year.

McCarthy told how Wahlberg, star of CBS' "Blue Bloods" and a member of New Kids on the Block, proposed to her with the help of her son Evan.

McCarthy’s publicist could not be reached for comment.
