“Redd Fever” Climbs During ‘The Voice' Watch Party for Local Coach SandyRedd

Fans in the Chicago area continue to cheer on Chicagoan SandyRedd as she performed once again on Monday night's NBC show 'The Voice.'

SandyRedd is known as a volleyball coach at Southland College Prep, where she also runs a mentoring program for young musicians.

The high school's performing arts center in Richton Park was filled with people hoping to see the rising star advance to the next round.

“I just hope she wins the whole thing, praying that she wins the whole thing,” said her eldest son, Tyrice Rogers.

The school even set up an entire row of computers to make sure all of her fans had a place to vote.

Her family, including her four sisters and two sons, Tyrice and Noah, showed out sporting #teamsandyredd shirts.

“It’s been a privilege to watch her week after week and to see everything that she’s overcome to get to this point,” said Michelle Bussy, one of her sisters.

No doubt fans have what they call “Redd fever.”
