Police have issued an alert about a pickpocket suspect who has targeted elderly victims on Chicago's North Side, according to a crime alert.
In four separate instances since the beginning of November, police said the suspect stole items from the victims' persons or their purses without their knowledge.
The alleged crimes happened on Nov. 1, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14 in the Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods. Police encourage residents who frequent businesses in these areas to be extra vigilant.
Officers have asked anyone with information about the crimes to contact the Bureau of Detectives - Area North at 312-744-8263.
