Police are searching for a man and woman working together who have robbed women of their purses at gunpoint.
In each attack the man approached the victims on the sidewalk, displayed a black handgun and took the victims’ purses with force. He then fled in a red-colored vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus, driven by a woman the alert said.
The robberies took place at the following locations and times:
- 1200 block of Kostner Avenue on June 23 at 10:30 a.m.
- 3500 block of West Ogden on June 26 at 5:40 p.m.
- 1900 block of South Ridgeway Avenue on July 12 at 6:00 p.m.
The man is described as black, 25 to 32-years old, between 4-foot-9-inches and 5-foot-10-inches, and weighs 110 to 180 pounds.
The woman is described as black and between 20 to 30-years old.
