Police are warning Portage Park residents of recent garage burglaries in the Northwest Side neighborhood.
In each burglary, at least one person enters a garage and takes property, Area North detectives said in a community alert. The incidents have happened between Cicero to Narragansett and Irving Park to Montrose, police said.
The burglaries happened at the following locations:
- 4000 block of North Major Avenue on Nov. 19
- 5000 block of West Cullom, between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23
- 4200 block of North Melvina on Nov. 26
- 4000 block of North Moody, between Nov. 25 and Nov. 26
