Police Looking for Pickpocket of $5,000

Woman took $5,000 from Skokie store employee

Skokie police are looking for a woman who pickpocketed $5,000 from an auto parts store employee, the Chicago Tribune reports. Police reviewed the store security video, which reportedly shows the suspect in the store, interacting with the employee and taking the money. The suspect is between the ages of 45 and 50, but authorities are still investigating.

The victim, 46, alerted police last week after he discovered the cash was missing from his pocket. He reported that a female customer had taken $5,000 in $100 bills from him, according to the Tribune.
