Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver

Chicago police are looking for leads surrounding an early morning hit-and-run.

A woman was seriously injured on the West Side when a car hit her at 2:15 a.m. Monday in the Garfield Park neighborhood. The driver then fled the scene, according to police News Affairs.

The woman was struck in the 3400 block of West Madison Avenue. The vehicle is described as a gold or silver Buick Park Avenue with a maroon colored rear passenger door.

After hitting the woman, the car continued west on Madison Street before turning north on Central Park Avenue.
