A 23-year-old woman had been in line for food when a man groped her, authorities said. The woman left the line and went to the bathroom, where police say the man entered the toilet before she could lock the hatch and sexually assaulted her.

The woman was taken to a local hospital. No one was in custody as of Tuesday morning, police said.

The Cubs said the team was notified of the assault and immediately contacted CPD during the event.

"We are using every available resource to help authorities identify and apprehend the suspect and are working with CPD to address the matter quickly. We are encouraging anyone who may have information to please contact police," the team said in a statement.

The suspect was described as being a white man, between 30 and 45 years old, nearly 6 feet tall, weighing between 200 and 220 pounds with brown, possibly balding hair.

Anyone with information on the man is being asked to call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8261.

Police advised others to report suspicious behavior, walk in pairs, don't talk to strangers or approach strange vehicles and travel in well-lit and populated areas.
