Police Investigate Wrigleyville Brawl Caught On Tape

Police said no arrests were made and the incident remains under investigation

Chicago Police are investigating a late-night restaurant brawl that was taped and posted on YouTube.

The video, posted March 24, shows a group of men and women throwing blows and chairs in the middle of Bacci Pizzeria on the 3500 block of North Clark Street in Wrigleyville.

A woman is seen throwing a chair over a man's head and the man retaliating by throwing a chair at her. A half-dozen or more people jump into the brawl before another man begins breaking up the fight, during which two other men were dragged to the ground.

Police News Affairs said the brawl happened around 3:15 a.m. March 24.

Two 24-year-old women walked into Bacci with a group of friends when two unknown women walked in and started striking them, police said. The fight then escalated into a brawl.

Minor injuries were treated on the scene and the fight remains under investigation, police said.

It's not known whether everyone seen fighting was part of either feuding group or if patrons were struck or involved.
