Police on Thursday evening asked for the public’s help in identifying a suspicious man who was taking pictures of young girls from inside of a parked minivan in Downers Grove.
Two young girls were playing outside in a front yard off of 35th Street and Highland Avenue in west suburban Downers Grove, when a white man in his 20s or 30s stopped in a Toyota minivan and began taking photographs of them, police said.
Authorities said the minivan was an older model with black rims and a black luggage carrier.
While it is unsure what the man's intentions were, additional patrol officers have been increased at surrounding parks and schools, according to police.
