Pitchfork Music Festival Releases 2018 Lineup

The festival, which will take place July 20-22, announced 14 new names Tuesday

The 13th annual Pitchfork Music Festival released its second wave of lineups to perform in Chicago's Union Park this summer.

The festival, which will take place July 20-22, announced 14 new names Tuesday.

Artists and bands said to perform this year have been released and socialized via a series of videos that demonstrate an artist painting a mural outside of a Wicker Park Cocktail bar, highlighting each performer’s name in it.

Tame Impala, Raphael Saadiq and DRAM were among the performers announced to lead in the lineup last week.

The War on Drugs, Chaka Khan, Courtney Barnett, Earl Sweatshirt, Big Thief, Moses Sumney, and Smino and Kweku Collins were a part of the second wave unveiled this week.

Although additional acts are said to be announced next week, here is a list of what music act to expect on each of the days:

July 20: Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett, Mount Kimbie, Big Thief, Earl Sweatshirt, Syd, Julie Byrne, Lucy Dacus, Melkbelly, Joshua Abrams & Natural Information Society.

July 21: The War on Drugs, Raphael Saadiq, This is Not This Heat, Moses Sumney, Kelela, Girlpool, Julien Baker, Zola Jesus, Berhana.

July 22: Chaka Khan, DRAM, Kelly Lee Owens, Irreversible Entanglements, Japandroids, (Sandy) Alex G, Smino, Ravyn Lenae, Kweku Collins.
