Photo: Cubs Get Championship Present From WWE

The Chicago Cubs took home some impressive hardware on Wednesday night as they clinched their first World Series title in over a century, but it looks like they’ll be getting another unique championship prize from an unexpected source.

That source is World Wrestling Entertainment, and the organization’s Executive VP of Talent Paul Levesque (better known by his wrestling moniker of Triple H) tweeted out a picture of a gift that the organization is going to give to the Cubs to honor their historic achievement:

It’s unclear which player or front office member is going to get to wear that belt first (although our money would be on Theo Epstein donning it at some point), but the Cubs wouldn’t be the first organization in Chicago to have a wrestling belt as a trophy for achievement.

After games during their championship runs, the Chicago Blackhawks have been known to give out a belt, and the WWE even sent the team a replica championship belt when they won the Stanley Cup in the 2015 season.
