A barricade situation at a West Side building ended peacefully Sunday after SWAT teams responded to the scene where a man who may have been armed was barricaded inside the building.
The man entered a building in the 1200 block of South St. Louis Avenue at about 12:15 p.m. Sunday, according to Chicago Police, who said the man might have been armed with a weapon.
SWAT teams responded to the incident, and a neighboring building was evacuated.
Authorities were questioning "persons of interest" after the barricade situation ended before 6 p.m.
No one was injured in the incident.
