The Chicago Transit Authority is ringing in the New Year by offering penny rides on the on trains and buses.
Beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday and ending at 6 a.m. on Friday riders will only have to pony up one lonely cent for transportation.
Plus, trains and buses are running later to accommodate all of the drunken New Year’s Eve revelers.
After the cheap rides end on Friday morning, the CTA will switch to a weekend schedule, meaning cut service for New Year’s Day.
