A domestic disturbance in Park Forest Sunday night resulted in a man and woman being shot to death, police said.
The Park Forest Police Department said officials found a husband and wife dead in their home at about 9:37 p.m. on the 300 block of Todd Street. The victims, Tajuanna Davis and Gerard Jimerson, both suffered gunshot wounds to the head, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, but officials said the incident so far points to a murder suicide.
Family members inside the home told police they heard a disturbance before the shooting occurred.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy Monday.
