A bad crash on the Near West Side left two people with serious injuries and a busy street closed.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday at Hoyne Avenue and Madison Street, one block west of the United Center.
Police say a woman hit a divider with her car, flipped and hit a bicyclist. Both the woman and bicyclist were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
The driver was in serious condition, the bicyclist in critical condition.
Madison Street was closed between Damen and Hoyne as police investigated the crash. It remains closed.
