Oprahmania to Hit United Center Tonight

Tens of thousands expected to pack stadium for back-to-back tapings

The queen of talk will grace a much larger stage Tuesday night in the Windy City.

Oprah Winfrey will tape two of her last three episodes at the United Center for segments titled, "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular."

Harpo Studios expects tens of thousands of loyal and lucky fans to pack the stadium for back-to-back tapings. More than 154,000 ticket requests flooded the company.

The interest to witness "Oprah Show" history remained high even as of Monday. Fans swarmed the United Center for just 85 overflow tickets.

The biggest names in movies, TV and music are expected to surprise the daytime diva known for disliking surprises.

“As most of our viewers know, being surprised is not one of Oprah’s favorite things," said executive producer Sheri Salata in a statement. "In the spirit of our farewell season, she is making a rare exception and we intend to make the most of that opportunity. It will be something to see!”

The shows will air May 23 and May 24. Winfrey's last show airs May 25 after 25 years.
