Chicago’s own mega millionaire Oprah is the most powerful celebrity in the world, according to an annual list released by the Forbes.
Each year, Forbes ranks actors, singers, entertainers and more according to their salaries, web and press rank, TV/radio rank and social rank. Pulling in an impressive $315 million, Oprah was the highest paid celebrity of the year, climbing from number two in 2009 and replacing Angelina Jolie in the list’s top spot.
Rounding out this year’s top ten -- Beyoncé, James Cameron, Lady Gaga, Tiger Woods, Britney Spears, U2, Sandra Bullock, Johnny Depp and Madonna.
Teen stars Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus just missed the cut, coming in at 11 and 13, respectively. You can view the full list here.
