If anyone needs to register or update their information, all paperwork must be submitted by Feb. 21.

As a result of voter registration hitting an all-time low, the Chicago Election Board is initiating a “voter-registration drill” to get people to check on their voter-registration status.

"Voters can check their status by entering their last name and address at www.chicagoelections.com or by calling 312-269-7900," stated a press release from the Chicago Board of Elections. "Voters outside of Chicago can check their status at the State Board of Elections’ web site at ww.elections.il.gov."

If changes need to be made, a downloadable mail-in voter registration application is available at chicagoelections.com, or can be completed in person at the Chicago Election Board at 69 W. Washington St. on the Sixth Floor.

The Board will be open on Feb. 21 through midnight.
