Given the choice, most Americans would prefer to have the Obama’s as neighbors.
The first family topped the list of Zillow.com’s annual Celebrity Neighbor Survey, beating out Sarah Palin , Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi, and Taylor Swift, who round out the top three (Palin and Ellen tied).
But unlike other celebs on the list, the Obama’s really could become your neighbor.
The home next door to the Obama’s Kenwood mansion is for sale for the bargain price of $1.85 million. Though, people haven’t exactly been breaking down owner Bill Grimshaw’s door.
"So far the Obama factor has not shown up in the appraisal, and people are trying to play the down-market game," Grimshaw told the Chicago Sun-Times. "I'm in no rush to leave, so we're going to wait until we get the best price."
What does Grimshaw think about the survey?
"Personally, I'd go for some hot babe, for sure," Grimshaw told the paper. "But the prestige of living next to the president is wonderful. And the main thing is the security. I don't lock my doors anymore."
