Naperville Wants All 145,000 Residents in Its Holiday Card

The city issued an invitation to all residents to participate in the photo after Thanksgiving

Naperville is going big this Christmas. The city announced an invitation to all 145,000 of its residents to be part of a holiday card.

“Naperville is a community that comes together time and time again to support and encourage each other,” Mayor A. George Pradel said. “We’re telling the world that Naperville is a city that promotes peace on Earth, peace throughout our nation, and peace right here at home."

Where are they going to find a large enough space to fit everyone in the picture?

According to the invitation, the plan is to take the photo from the roof of the Naperville Municipal Center the day after Thanksgiving at 2 p.m.

If all goes according to plan, participants will be grouped together in the form of a holiday message for the card.

No word on when you can expect to see the card in your mailbox.
