    Naperville Officials Warn of Road Closures Due to Gas Line Break

    Naperville officials released a statement Tuesday evening notifying residents of several road closures due to a gas line break.

    Naperville officials released a statement Tuesday evening notifying residents of several road closures due to a gas line break.

    According to a message sent from the City of Naperville's Naper Notify notification system, roads affected included Washington Street between Van Buren Avenue and Franklin Avenue, and Benton Avenue between Center Street and Main Street.

    Those roads were expected to be closed for about seven hours, the statement read.

    The statement urged locals to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
