Multiple people were injured when an airport shuttle bus crashed into Chicago Police squad car during rush hour Tuesday outside of O’Hare Airport.
Police said the crash happened around 3:15 p.m. in the 100 block of North Bessie Coleman Drive.
“A marked Chicago Police Department vehicle was conducting a traffic stop when it was rear-ended by an Airport Shuttle Bus,” according to Chicago Police News Affairs.
The CPD vehicle then hit a Honda, police said.
According to authorities, one person in the Honda and at least four occupants in the shuttle bus were taken to Resurrection Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. An officer also went to an area hospital.
