The singing of “Go Cubs Go” is either a wonderful tradition or a tune that’s outlived its usefulness depending on which sports fan you’re talking to, but there’s no arguing that when kids sing the song, it’s pretty awesome.
That is most certainly the case with the children of Chicago Cubs catcher Miguel Montero, who sang the song before the team’s Game 3 contest against the New York Mets on Tuesday night.
Fortunately for us, the catcher shared video of his kids singing the song, and it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face:
The Cubs may be down 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, but Montero’s kids don’t seem to be fazed by the uphill climb the team faces, and fans hope the team feels the same way.
