McDonald's Held Up At Tri-State Oasis

The resturant was robbed Friday morning in South Holland, police said

A McDonald's restaurant in the Lincoln Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway was robbed at gunpoint early Friday in South Holland, police said.

The restaurant was held up around 2:30 a.m., but no one was hurt, according to the Chicago Tribune. McDonald's was the only business open in the Oasis at the time.

The Tribune reports no arrests have been made and the Illinois State Police Tollway District is investigating possible surveillance video of the robbery.

The Oasis and a Mobil gas station were closed Friday morning following the incident.

No further information was immediately released.
