Man, Woman Stabbed on Red Line Platform

Police are looking for a man who stabbed two people Sunday at a CTA Red Line train station on the South Side.

A man and a woman were stabbed by a known assailant around 11:12 a.m. at the 95th Street train station on the CTA Red Line, police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.

A man was stabbed in the stomach and the woman was stabbed in the arm, Perez said. Both victims were taken in an unknown condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center.

Police were searching the area but did not find the attacker, who is described as a 28-year-old man, Perez said. It is not currently known if it was a domestic-related incident.

Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
