A man was killed after being struck by mulitple vehicles on the Kennedy Expressway early Monday.
The man jumped from a guardrail above Hubbard’s Cave, fell through an opening in the cave and landed on the Kennedy.
Police are investigating the incident as a suicide.
Only one of the several drivers who struck the man stopped after hitting him,
The incident occurred about 12:50 a.m. when the victim was hit under the Hubbard Street overpass, state police said.
Lanes on I-90/94 were blocked off for about an hour.
The man was dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, police said.
