Rescuers pulled a man from the Chicago River early Friday morning near State Street and Wacker Drive.
Paramedics were called to the scene at about 1:35 a.m. The victim was in critical condition when he was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Officials have not released further information about the victim or how he got into the river.
