Man Charged With Stealing Suitcase Full of Wigs From O'Hare Baggage Claim

The stolen wigs had an estimated value of more than $90,000, police said

A Chicago man faces a felony charge after he allegedly stole a suitcase full of human hair wigs for cancer patients from a baggage claim at O'Hare International Airport.

Noel Fulgencio, 35, was seen removing a suitcase at the baggage claim at about 9 a.m. on Tuesday. The suitcase contained more than $90,000 worth of wigs for cancer patients, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.

Police found Fulgencio three days later in the 3000 block of West Lawrence, where he was placed in custody. Police have since located the suitcase and wigs.

Fulgencio, of the 4800 block of North Magnolia, was charged with one felony count of theft. He is scheduled to appear in bond court on Saturday.
