Man Charged With Pool Player's Murder

Greg Noack is being held for an extradition hearing Friday in Indiana

The Michigan man accused of murdering his girlfriend, whose body was found Thursday in a swamp in northwest Indiana, is being held for an extradition hearing.

Greg Noack, 44, was charged by prosecutors in Michigan with the murder of his girlfriend, Dawn Marie Fital, 45, a competitive pool player.

Fital's body was discovered stuffed in a suitcase, her legs, arms and head bound with duct tape, police said. Noack was arrested in Merrillville, Ind., near where her body was found. His extradition hearing is scheduled for Friday morning at the Lake County magistrate court jail in Indiana.

Police believe Noack killed Fital in Michigan, then drove across state lines, where he dumped her body in Indiana.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Saturday.
