Police arrested a South Side man after he allegedly beat two women with a hammer.
Felix Amparano, 31, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery and armed robbery Tuesday after police heard a woman screaming for help.
They say Amparano leaving the apartment building on the 4700 block of South Seeley Avenue around 8:15 covered in blood.
Both women were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
