A 35-year-old man and 4-year-old boy were found dead Wednesday in a west suburban Yorkville home, police said.
Yorkville Police said officers found the man and boy at about 3:21 p.m. during a well-being check at the home in the 300 block of Bertram Drive.
The man was identified as Joseph R. Schmitt. Police said autopsies are scheduled for Friday.
A further investigating is pending, police said.
