Libertyville Named a Top City For the Rich and Single

Suburb ranked No. 22 in CNN Money list

According to CNN Money, Libertyville ranks No. 22 in the country in its list of the "Best Places for the Rich and Single."

The northern suburb's population of 20,465 comprises nearly 32 percent single people with a median family income of $130,884.

CNN touts Libertyville's combination of "big-city amenities with a Midwestern homeyness," and compares Main Street with Chicago's Milwaukee Avenue for its bustling social and dining scene catering to sophisticated palates."

The North Shore Wine, Beer, Cigar & Food Festival, the Independence Grove outdoor amphitheater and the Liberty Town Productions are specifically mentioned as social highlights the city has to offer.

The top three cities on the list include Dallas suburb University Park, Texas at No. 1, followed by Garden City, NY in Long Island and Concord Mass.
