International Home and Housewares Expo Starts March 2

The Housewares Expo offers consumer lifestyle and product trands

The annual International Home and Housewares Show hits Chicago this weekend. The event offers first hand consumer lifestyle and product trends for every inch of your home. 

Housewares products are split into four exposés; clean contain and sustain, dine and design, discover design and wired and well.

Each expo contains a wide variety of categories.

Clean Contain and Sustain expo is about cleaning products, furniture, general merchandise and bath and shower accessories. This expo is located in the North Building, Level 3.

The Dine and Design and Discover Design expo are in the South Building on Level 3. Dine and Design includes cookware, bakeware, tea kettles and brewers and much more. It is mostly about the kitchen area. Meanwhile Discover Design consists of more than 100 exhibitors from around the world highlighting products and collections inspired by design and innovation.

Lakeside Center Level 3 is hosting the Wired and Well expo which is about energy conservation products, home healthcare and major appliances.

The Housewares Show is hosting more than 2,000 participating exhibit companies and 60,000 trade visitors.

The Housewares Show takes place at McCormick Place 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive. The hours are Sat. Mar. 2, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mar. 3 to Mar. 4, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Tues. 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
