Inebriated Man Passes Out While at Taste with 1-Year-Old Daughter

A 25-year-old man is accused of being so drunk he passed out at the Taste of Chicago with his 1-year-old daughter and later became aggressive with a police officer, police said.

Joshua Hinton, 25, was charged with contributing to the neglect of a child and battery, both misdemeanors, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.

Hinton allegedly passed out Saturday night at the Taste of Chicago with his 1-year-old daughter, police said.

Hinton was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, along with his daughter, when he allegedly became physical with an arresting officer.

Hinton’s blood alcohol content was measured at .290, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The toddler was released to a family member, police said.
