Teachers Create Parody Video for Students Taking ISATs

Video has more than 21,000 views in eight days

The Staff at Indian Hill Elementary School got creative with their approach to motivate their students before the Illinois State Achievement Tests (ISAT) this year.

They created a parody video of LMFAO's hit song "I'm Sexy and I know It," and renamed it "I'm Smarty and I know it."

Teacher Corey Hendricks, star and mastermind behind this unique approach, got the faculty and staff to help him make the video, according to a report in TribLocal.

The video shows staff, posing as "Big Chief & The ISAT Dancers," decked out in 80's clothing while dancing in various parts of the school.

They premiered it to the students in a surprise assembly and Hendricks told TribLocal that the students loved it.

"I'm Smarty and I Know It," debuted on YouTube on March 2, and in eight days had more than 21,000 views.
