Strangers are helping an Illinois couple turn certain tragedy into a memorable celebration of life.
Nolan Keane, 28, of downstate Kewanee has been fighting stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme, a fast-growing brain cancer, for four years. He recently learned the cancer has spread and he only has months to live.
The only thing he wants is to marry his high school sweetheart, Morgan, and take her back to Disney World, where he proposed.
"Through the kindness of others and services donated, Nolan and Morgan are looking forward to their wedding on March 9!" a message on the couple's Give Forward page states. "It is going to be a beautiful day with an extraordinary amount of love."
Morgan's sisters started an online fundraiser that's sweeping the web. Their goal was $20,000, but within a few days, $63,000 was donated for the honeymoon.
The couple will marry on Saturday in Peoria.
